Of course, this will be a very fluid and growing page! Below are some of my favorite links for doing the work I do, and for goofing off when I need a break.
Google -- one of the very best, quick and efficient. Very intuitive, too. If you misspell it, the engine will ask you what you really meant.
SearchMash -- Google has a new engine out, and it's Google WITHOUT all the advertising, and eliminating most of the fluff in the responses. Excellent!
Dogpile -- a metasearch engine, searching over a dozen other search engines at once.
Yahoo -- with the right phrasing, this can get the job done. (Such as "Insulated clothing" AND "innovation" -- to narrow the search.)
United States Post Office -- for zip codes, package tracking, postal rates, etc.
Ink Kingdom -- excellent source for Epson printer cartridges at about 80% less than the cost of retail.
HTML Goodies -- for web design, this is the place to go!
Babble Fish -- If you need to know the translation of something into another language, this is the place to go. Translates from and to English for many popular languages.
Amazon -- If I need a book, they've got it.
eBay -- I've bought the most amazing things from people on eBay, from cowyboy boots to a laptop, from digital cameras to knitting patterns.
Christian Books and Resources -- Books, music and more at discount prices.
Extreme Ironing -- one of the wildest sites I've ever seen! Check it out and be introduced to the extreme sport to end extreme sports.
SermonAudio.com -- An absolutely fantastic site with well over 110,000 sermons from solid preachers. You can search by speaker, title, topic or even Bible passage. A goldmine for Bible study preparation, or personal growth. Download sermons as MP3 files. Save them off as DATA (not AUDIO) and you can get upwards of 100 on a single CD.
