If it's words you need, I'm ready. Better yet, if you need to blend words and images into a communicative and pleasing package, I'm happier still. I offer the following services:
Writing -- articles, books, brochure copy, speeches, corporate plans, software manuals, whatever. Shorter projects are bid by the hour, longer ones by the project.
Graphic Design -- magazines, brochures, fliers, you name it, if it's got words and art, I can make it work for you.
Web Sites -- design and maintenance.
Internet Content -- newsletters, e-mail communications, website content, etc.

I produce a quarterly 16-page magazine for the International Drycleaners Congress, as well as other materials, as needed. The magazine is 8 1/2 x 11 inches in size, with 4-color front and back covers, and 2-color content inside. The client provides me with information and suggests what subjects to cover. I take the materials provided, edit them for clarity and the medium, and do the graphic design for the pages. After extensive interaction with the client to ensure accuracy, I oversee the print production and fulfillment.
I thoroughly enjoy this kind of work, and would be happy to bid on your project, as well. I bid such jobs on a total project basis, since this is best for all concerned -- we don't end up watching the clock whenever we talk to each other. I have more than a dozen years of experience in magazine production work.

If your company does not have a presence on the internet, you are quickly becoming invisible. More people than ever use the internet to check out a company before they buy, visit, or apply for a job. A website that gives your potential customers a good impression is important.
I have designed websites for Fabricare Canada magazine, the International Drycleaners Congress, and (of course) the website you are viewing now. I'm not fancy in my web work -- but the sites tell the story and enable the client to put their best foot forward. I bid this kind of work in two pieces: design of the initial website, and ongoing maintenance per year.

Any communication effort should include the written word, eye-catching graphics, and a variety of media to reach as many people as possible. One aspect of any communication plan should be using the internet -- through a website, online newsletter, and e-mail program. I have written a weekly e-mail newsletter for drycleaners to send to their customers since May, 2001. Subjects vary each week, but the key to a good newsletter is taking a slightly offbeat approach to the subject, yet keeping the drycleaner's name and services in the forefront of the consumer's consciousness.
A similar approach can be adapted to any industry. This kind of project would be bid on a project basis for the initial concept and strategy, then on a per-newsletter basis thereafter.

I would be pleased to bid on any project you have in mind, large or small.
Give me the specifics of your project,
and I will reply with a bid and timeframe for completion.
